Welcome to The Encounter Christ Bible Reading Plan

A 54-week journey designed with the focus of Christ as the resolution of all Scripture.

The entire Bible—Old and New Testaments—points to Jesus Christ. Through this journey, you’ll see yourself more clearly in and through His light: “In His light, shall we see light” (Psalm 36:9).

The plan is divided into four quarters, allowing you to start anytime during the year without feeling overwhelmed. Each day focuses on Scriptures revealing Christ—His presence in prophecy, fulfillment in the Gospels, and work in the Epistles and beyond.

Quarter 1:
Prophecies of Christ and His Birth
(January 1st - March 31st)
This quarter uncovers the hidden testimonies of Jesus Christ, woven throughout the Old Testament, long before His physical birth. From Genesis to Malachi, we see glimpses of the Messiah, the One who would come to redeem and restore.

These prophecies emphasize that the entire Bible has always pointed to Christ, affirming God’s eternal plan of salvation. Reflecting on this, it amazes me how even from the beginning, Scripture testifies of Jesus. It reminds me that every story finds its ultimate resolution in Him, and I feel a deep sense of awe in seeing His light throughout the Bible.
Quarter 2:
The Life and Ministry of Jesus Christ
(April 1st - June 30th)
This quarter highlights the beauty of Christ’s earthly life and ministry. His teachings, miracles, and compassion reveal the fullness of God’s heart in human form. As He walked among us, He gave us a tangible example of how we are called to live—with love, humility, and obedience to the Father.

Seeing Jesus live as one of us—walking, teaching, healing, and loving—reminds me that He truly understands our struggles and joys. His life gives me a blueprint for my own, and it humbles me to witness the depth of His love for us.
Quarter 3:
The Passion, Resurrection, and the Birth of the Church
(July 1st - September 30th)
This quarter explores the ultimate sacrifice of Christ, His triumphant resurrection, and the birth of the Church. Through His death and resurrection, He conquered sin and death, paving the way for us to have eternal life.

The gift of the Holy Spirit, poured out after His ascension, equips and empowers us to live in alignment with His will. This reminds me of the beauty of the Father’s heart for us—He didn’t leave us alone but sent the Holy Spirit to guide and help us.
Quarter 4:
The Fulfillment of Christ’s Mission and the Hope of His Return
(October 1st - December 31st)
In this final quarter, we see the culmination of Christ’s mission and the hope of His return. The Scriptures invite us to be active participants in His work, living as witnesses of His love and light.

They also call us to anticipate His second coming, reminding us to stay prepared and faithful. These passages stir my heart, reminding me of the role we play as His witnesses. I pray for the strength and wisdom to reflect His light in all areas of life as we wait in hope for His return.
